Elodie Campeanu est née dans l'année 1986 en région parisienne. Dès l’âge de 5 ans, elle se passionne d'art pictural.
A partir de ses 19 ans, après plusieurs années de pratique, elle découvre la photographie et eu rapidement l'opportunité de travailler avec des artistes de renoms et de gros groupes tel qu’Universal.
A 21 ans, elle rentre à l’école des Gobelins, pour étudier la photographie et la post-production. Sortie à 23 ans, elle monte sa première entreprise en cogérance, proposant des services de production et post-production photographiques baptisés Pixus à Paris. Ce qui lui a permis de travailler avec de grandes marques à travers le monde.
Par la suite, elle a créé le Studio Perché, un lieu où différents artistes ont exposé. Puis, dans le même temps, elle a accédé au poste d’enseignante de post-production photographique à l’école des Gobelins durant trois ans.
Après avoir choisi de vivre en Champagne Ardennes, elle se concentre davantage sur ses projets artistiques personnels tout en continuant son travail en freelance.
Son amour de la peinture a refait surface et la passion de son enfance est venue s’enrichir de ses connaissances photographiques. La poésie, le sens esthétique et graphique sont les directions centrales de son œuvre. Son travail s’inspire des expériences de la vie, de l’actualité ou de l’imaginaire ubuesque confronté à la réalité crue inspirée par le mouvement de la nouvelle objectivité allemande. Elle aime confronter des univers opposés et donner un sens onirique à une réalité crue avec laquelle il est difficile de prendre de la distance.

Elodie Campeanu was born in 1986 in the Paris area. From the age of 5, she was passionate about pictural art.
At the age of 19, after several years of practice, she discovered photography and was quickly able to start working with renowned artists and wellknown companies such as Universal. At the age of 21, she entered the Gobelins art school in Paris, to study photography and post-production. When she was 23, she started her first co-managed company, offering photographic production and post-production services named Pixus. This has allowed her to work with major brands around the world.
There after, she created the Studio Perché, a place where different artists exhibited. Then, at the same time, she became a teacher of photography and retouch at the Gobelins school for three years.
At 29, she decided to focus more on her personal work and moved to Champagnes-Ardennes in France, where she continues her freelance work.
This status gives her time and freedom to devote herself to more personal projects. Her love for painting resurfaced and her childhood passion came to enrich her photographic knowledge. Poetry, aesthetic and graphic sense are the major directions of her work. It is inspired by experiences from life, current events or a certain surrealistic imaginary, confronted by the raw reality influenced by the movement of new objectivity in Germany. She likes to confront opposite universes and give a dreamlike meaning to a raw reality with which it is difficult to distance ourselves.
